Enjoy the Summer Holidays at Waddesdon
There is so much on offer at Waddesdon this summer for all the family to enjoy. With free workshops and activities, open air theatre, delicious pizza and more, here's everything you can get involved with...
Take part in fun workshops
Throughout the summer come and enjoy many fun activities in the grounds, included with your grounds admission. Each Friday-Sunday, we’ll have a different workshop to enjoy – Handle Birds of Prey, take part in a Circus Workshop, make music in a Junkyard Orchestra Soundgarden, and much more…
Play games in the grounds
This summer, there will be garden games for you to pick up and play with. Find a lawn, have a run around and try your hand at rounders, cricket, or noughts and crosses!
Cool down with an ice cream
Treat yourself to a refreshing ice cream at either the Woodland Takeway which serves soft serve ice cream, or the Stables Takeaway for local Oliphant’s ice cream with many flavours and toppings available.
Tuck into woodfired pizza
New for this summer, tuck into Dyllie’s woodfired pizza at the Stables as well as many other light bites from the food to go outlets including the Coffee Bar and the Stables Takeaway.
A summer picnic
Pick the perfect spot in the gardens and refuel… bring your own picnic or why not enjoy one of our tasty picnic boxes which include seasonal sandwiches, buttermilk scones with strawberry jam & clotted cream, and much more! Pre-book or buy one whilst you’re here.
Theatre Thursdays
Sit back and enjoy a theatre performance every Thursday evening in August. There’s performances of Alice in Wonderland, Wind in the Willows, Tales of Peter Rabbit, Romeo & Juliet, and Robin Hood.
Outdoor Cinema
Get ready to watch your favourite movie on the big screen under the stars at Waddesdon. This summer, we are showing The Great Gatsby, Elvis, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and Top Gun: Maverick. 13 September – 16 September, 7.30pm.
