StablesThis February half-term the grounds will be open for family days out. Get creative with giant colouring boards in the Coach House, play in the woodland playground and enjoy a hot lunch at the Stables Café.
Doodle Jam
Join us as we welcome Doodle Jam back to Waddesdon.
Get creative in the Coach House as you help illustrator Scott Walker colour in giant Waddesdon-inspired doodles during this free, drop-in activity. Children and adults alike are invited to grab some colouring pens and join in the fun. 11am-3pm in the Coach House Gallery at The Stables.
Woodland Playground
Adventure in the newly refurbished Woodland Playground! Featuring a brand new zip wire, board rider and swings with plenty of space to run around, children of all ages are sure to enjoy our playground.
Refuel at the Stables Cafe
Tuck into a range of delicious snacks, light lunches and hot drinks at the Stables.
Step into nature
Walking routes
There is so much to explore at Waddesdon so we have outlined four different walks taking in different aspects of the gardens or wider estate.
Bring your dog
You are more than welcome to bring your dog to join in on the adventures. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the grounds with the exception of the Aviary and Woodland Playground.
Spot snowdrops and daffodils
February is the perfect time to look out for snowdrops. You may also be lucky enough to catch the first of the spring daffodils!
Sensory map
Wander through the grounds and experience Waddesdon through your senses. Each stop on the trail engages a different sense. Touch the rough surface of the tree ferns and stop to listen to the birds sing in the Aviary
